Kathy Ireland Founded her brand licensing company, Kathy Ireland Worldwide (KIWW), in 1993. Her first product was a line of socks that she sold at Kmart.
The has since crowned Ireland as one of America’s richest self-made women and one of the wealthiest former models in the worls. It generated retail sales of $3.1 billion in 2021.
Women’s Wear Daily called Ireland’s company the most valuable female-owned licensing firm in American history in 2022. That same year, she was also inducted into the Licensing Hall of Fame.
